The Problem:
Delaware Tag Traders is a company that allows users to buy and sell license plates in the State of Delaware. Collectors in particular love buying low-numbered plates.
The Challenge
While working at Enterprise Blocks, a client came in and needed us to create a website that used a CMS to allow the owners to regularly, and easily, update their website.
The Solution:
After meeting with the client, I determined the best solution was a design that was minimalist and clean and used simple CSS to emulate the style of Delaware State license plates so that the text was not only dynamic but also great for SEO. By creating a simple visual hierarchy on pages for categories, it made it easier for users to determine what were the best tags for them if they weren't familiar with the many technical terms that were used by the company and the more experienced traders. We used WordPress as the CMS since it offered the easiest way to update the website for the owners.
The Results:
The site has continued to attract clients for years and still holds a contemporary look.
